Chiropractic Treatments & Techniques

Pain rarely has a single cause, so your care shouldn't be one-size-fits-all. We start with an objective movement assessment, then combine hands-on chiropractic care, soft tissue work, and rehabilitative exercise into a plan built around you. Browse the treatments below to see what each one does and the conditions it can help.

Assessment

Functional Range Assessment® (FRA®)

A joint-by-joint evaluation of movement capacity that helps guide a personalized plan, performed by a Functional Range Assessment Specialist. Finding the possible root cause of pain, injury prevention, athletes starting a new sport or training block.

Hands-on care

Myofascial release

A joint-by-joint evaluation of movement capacity that helps guide a personalized plan, performed by a Functional Range Assessment Specialist. Finding the possible root cause of pain, injury prevention, athletes starting a new sport or training block.

Chiropractic adjustments & mobilizations

Gentle, hands-on joint work designed to improve motion and ease irritated nerves. Back and neck pain, desk-posture and "text neck" pain, headaches and migraines, hip and shoulder pain, stiffness and limited range of motion.

Non-surgical spinal decompression

Controlled traction designed to reduce pressure on discs and nerves. Herniated or bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, spinal stenosis, pinched nerves.

Active soft tissue release

Hands-on treatment where we apply pressure to a tight or scarred muscle or tendon while you move the joint through its range, aimed at easing restrictions and restoring smooth motion. Sprains and strains, repetitive-strain injuries, tennis and golfer's elbow, shoulder pain.

Scraping & instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM)

Tool-based techniques aimed at improving tissue function and easing pain. Tendon and muscle irritation, Achilles and shin pain, plantar fasciitis, IT band tightness.

Cupping

Suction-based soft tissue work that lifts the tissue and is used to ease tightness and tension. Muscle tightness, trigger points, chronic tension, post-training soreness.

Body tempering

Firm, sustained pressure from a weighted cylinder rolled over tight muscles. Think foam rolling with more load, to ease tension and improve mobility. Tight hamstrings, stiff ankles and upper back, tight chest and shoulder muscles, post-training soreness.

Nerve pain, numbness & tingling treatment (peripheral nerve work)

Treatment aimed at irritated or restricted nerves outside the spine. Carpal tunnel syndrome, hand and foot numbness or tingling, nerve irritation.

Kinesiology taping

Supportive taping that may help with pain control and joint awareness during movement. Sprains, strains, joint support during sport.

Rehab & performance

Therapeutic and corrective exercise

Movement-based rehab that retrains how your body handles load and shares it across joints. Knee pain, low back pain, hip pain, chronic and recurring pain.

Mobility training (Functional Range Conditioning)

Joint-focused mobility and strength work that builds usable range of motion and control, led by a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist. Stiff or restricted joints, limited range of motion, athletes working on mobility.

Non-surgical spinal decompression

Controlled traction designed to reduce pressure on discs and nerves. Herniated or bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, spinal stenosis, pinched nerves.

Post-surgical rehabilitation

Progressive rebuilding of strength, balance, and stability after surgery. Post-surgical recovery, rotator cuff repair, return to work or activity.
